The EIC 5th year Primary students will perform in the CANTANIA concert that will be held in the Barcelona Auditorium on the 2nd of June, a concert that they have been preparing for all year. On the 21st of February over 180 people took part in the I EIC Calçotada, organised by the School’s mothers and fathers through the Art, Leisure and Cultural Club. Students of all ages, mothers, fathers and teachers enjoyed a get together that mixed local tradition and sports activities. Volleyball, basketball and football matches were played throughout the day, along with tasting the typical dishes from our land.  
On the 19th of March the EIC P5 and P6 students will take part in the I Cangur Competition for their level. After the success of the last 19 editions for students in the last Secondary years, this year’s competition will be the I Cangur organised for Primary level. The EIC violin/Suzuki teacher, Aina Roger, took part in the musical called  “Acaba’t la sopa!!!” (Finish your soup!!!). It is a live music and dance show that will be performed in Caixafòrum, Barcelona, throughout the month of March. The performance dates are 7, 8, 21, 22, 28 and 29 of March. The school, from Primary to Baccalaureate, is taking part in a Maths photography contest, organised by ABEAM (Association from Barcelona for the Study and Learning of Maths). An ABEAM committee will select the best pictures. A prize will be awarded to the winners during a public event that will take place in Barcelona on the 2nd of June.
The School celebrated the Chinese New Year on the 19th of February and this year it is the year of the Goat. The Primary students carried out various activities throughout the whole week. The EIC was filled with colour on the 13th of February during the  Carnestoltes ( Carnival) celebrations.
