The Community Service Club organised a toy collection jointly with the Red Cross. There was a very high level of support from our families and 173 toys were collected for children of different ages. Alongside toys, we also collected school equipment such as pencils, markers, pens, crayons paper, etc.
The students of History of Art (Bachillerato Social) travelled to Paris in October to see first hand the works of art which they have been studying during the course. The visited the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, focusing on the Renaissance, Baroque, Neo Classicism, Romanticism and Avant Garde. On Wednesday the 15th of October, 3rd & 4th of ESO went to Montserrat, a 1.236 meters high multi-picked mountain. It’s Catalonia's most important religious retreat and groups of young people from all over Catalonia make overnight hikes at least once in their lives to watch the sunrise from the heights of Montserrat. For one week (from the 28th of September to the 2nd of October), grandfathers and grandmothers became the focus of attention in our school. During the last three years the Gumá family have made the Joan Gumà Grant for Excellence possible, and for the next course it goes to Alex Keyken.
