Living & Learning Sustainably
Donate unwanted toys & tools to support our laboratories
We generate an immense amount of litter on a daily basis and by donating unwanted items to people that might use them, we can reduce this waste.
We accept the following material which we will disinfect:
• lego blocks/building blocks, for geometry experiments
• dices and poker cards, for probability experiments
• ego blocks/building blocks, for geometry experiments
• balls of different size, elastic bands for fitness and climbing ropes for experiments on elasticity, bouncing and oscillation
• kettles, for thermodynamics experiments

'Around the world'
In Primary Second Cycle we have started our new topic
called ‘Around the world’.
Primary three have already learned to name and locate
the seven continents and five major oceans and the pupils
have enjoyed our ‘map work’. We have started thinking
about sustainability and learning about plastic pollution,
particularly in our oceans and already we have made some
fabulous posters. Next we will be finding out all about the
Cumbre Vieja volcano and making our own volcano models.
