The School celebrated the Chinese New Year on the 19th of February and this year it is the year of the Goat. The Primary students carried out various activities throughout the whole week. Within the community service activities, Primary 5 made Chinese bread for all their classmates and Primary 6 made decorative posters for Nursery and Preschool classroom doors with the word “Happiness” written in Chinese, a word that, if we turn it around, means” come in, enter”. The students in Primary 1 made dragons and paraded all around the School. Finally, the P5 students sang the New Year song in Chinese in front of all their school classmates.
二月十九日本校庆祝中国羊年春节
本周小学部学生开展了多项活动：其中五年级学生为全小学部准备制作年糕的材料。六年级同学用“福字”装饰幼儿部教室。“福字”倒贴表示“幸福进家门”。一年级同学制作长龙在全校走廊表演舞龙。最后五年级同学带领全小学部学生齐唱中国歌曲“新年好”。
