Solidarity night for scholarships and grants at the EIC

On June 17th the EIC was the scene for the Fundació Escola Internacional del Camp awards and scholarships ceremony. Three scholarships were awarded for students and

two for teachers.

The Fruselva award to the student in Science, Technology and Mathematics went to Martin Jakovlev. The FEIC award for the Humanities went to Shagun Mayani. The Gumà Family Excellence Scholarship to one EIC student went to MariaXiang del Peso Arbó.

The Socrates Educa Awards for Teaching Excellence, which aim to promote and recognise excellence in teaching activity in the school environment, focusing on educational innovation, the development of the Socrates Educa project and the application of the 4 pillars of the school, internationality, excellent use of technology, sustainability and community service. The Socrates Educa award for Teaching Excellence in the Humanities went to Zoey Mee. The Socrates Educa award for Teaching Excellence in Science, Technology and Mathematics went to Pilar Chavez.

In addition to these scholarships and prizes, the FEIC offers other support. One is the Mr. Esteve Blasi Scholarship. It is a scholarship intended for a student from outside the EIC, with academic potential and the ambition to study internationally, with talent, willpower, attitude and aptitudes to study, but who has financial limitations to be able to attend these two years of pre-university studies  at the EIC. The scholarship, which is biannual, will cover the entire academic costs for the student during the two years of the Baccalaureate.

The second scholarship is for ESO, BAT and IB Diploma students. The FEIC promotes a set of scholarships (with full or partial coverage of the cost of schooling) to students who, coming

from outside the EIC, want to pursue their studies and for whom the economic conditions may be a limiting factor. Candidates must submit their application to the FEIC before the
end of July of each academic year.
