"Jo tinc la paraula"

This past January, our ESO1 and ESO2 students put their oral competence into practice in the Catalan class. They have done so through the contest from the Department of Education called "Jo tinc la paraula". The aim of this competition is to provoke students to reflect on the components that make oral communication effective. With a video recording, as if they were youtubers, they were able to express and communicate their ideas, opinions, experiences, etc. Students had 5 topics to choose from: fluency, fear of public speaking, non-verbal language, conversation or adaptation to the communicative situation. In the video, students could give their opinion, give examples or respond to the call made by each tutorial. Here are some examples of these videos exclusively edited and designed by the students themselves without any help from the teachers. We hope you enjoy them as much as they enjoyed!
